HOLIDAY CHEER. . . .

Okay........i haven't posted in awhile. The reason for this is I've been tryin' to work on some comic pages. The thing is, I'm rusty as hell. Right now i'm just tryin to find a rhythm........i need to make em flow. Hopefully i can scribble up somethin' worth showin' soon. But right now, it's all bad. . . . . very bad.

Anyway, i took a breath for a minute and whipped up a christmas card.........kinda.

THANKFUL FOR THANKSGIVING! . . .



Okay, so I was in a major art slump for alittle over a week. It was frustratin' as hell. But due to thanksgiving's holiday cheer and unhealthy amounts of food intake, the slump is ended. Hopefully i can get back on the ball and start pumpin stuff out again.

Inbetween feedings i managed to doodle alittle. . . . .
this barbarian type character is a concept for a new collab with 3D mastermind Nick Bradley. And the chicks are for a comission i'm workin on.

Since i have absolutley nothing new to post, i figured i'd post some old stuff. These are some bat-chicks i did awhile back. First up is Harleyquinn. . . .never took it past this point. The second is a Tim Sale-ish Poison Ivy that i never finished, cuz i started hatin' it halfway through.

BOMBS AWAY!


This is a sketch i did last night for this "hulk" jam i was invited to. It's one of those "lets use Hulk as a bomb and drop him on an unsuspecting city to see what happens" kinda moments. So yeah, i'm pretty happy with the sketch. I'm thinkin about usin' it somewhere else. . .maybe throwin' Wolverine in the mix. . . .i dont know.

Extra Pulp


this was a warm up sketch for this pulp fiction piece i was doin' called "dead nigger storge". . . .The idea took on a life of its own and has become something even greater. Hopefully i can have some more sketches form that up soon (Tarintino has no knowledge of this).

The second sketch is an old idea that started off as another angel concept. But half way through it didn't feel right so i just finished it out as something different. I still wanna use elements from this. . . . just not this.

First of all, anybody who's a fan of superheroes should read Invincible. Robert Kirkman(the writer) is a genius. Anyway. . . .I scribbled this last night while I was watchin' Conan O'brien(also a genius).

these are two unrelated concepts i did for my partner in creation, Nick Bradley- master of the 3-d universe. The smaller girl represents the sin "greed". she somehow got her head stuck in the cookie jar and is determined to finish her cookie by any means necessary. The thick warrior chick is a frog riding death dealer, sworn to protect her island from whatever mystical dangers await. . . . . .somthin' like that. !BAMF!
