This is the final concept for the main chick in the graphic novel i'm workin' on.

AND JUST LIKE THAT.......IT'S OVER......

Well....the game we poured our hearts and souls into is officially off the market. Not much more than a week after release, the investors weren't happy with the numbers we pulled in.....so they shut the entire company down. everything......its over. Not really the smartest business plan if you ask me.....but i'm not the man wit the money. Apparently they wanted us to do W.o.W. numbers in our first week, and what we got was nowhere close. Oh well. thats life. it is what it is. moving on.

First Game Release!!!. . .

My company released our 1st game this weekend entitled "PHYLON". It's a massive mutliplayer online shooter.....in space! Chock full of crazy characters, crazy weapons and crazy worlds. expertly crafted by myself and the phenomenal art team over at Rapid Reality......a team that, over time, has become a family. We've made alot of games, but this is the first one to actually see the light of day. Here's a couple concepts i did for it. I hope everybody digs it. You can check it out over at Phylon-online.com
And to all the family members that are no longer with us.......... I personally will miss the hell outta yall. And the company will never be the same or as good without you.

Nothin' to say. . .

Too many thoughts stampedin' in my head to pick out just one to put in this entry. Even if i chose one it would just tangent and leak into another....which would be followed by another, creating a seemingly incoherent string of babble that would force me to change the name of the blog from scribble scrabble to jibba jabba (a term coined by the wise Mr T), and nobody wants that. So..... there will be nothing said in this post.........

Not Dead. . .

. . . Just busy....very busy....that kind of busy where you don't have time to sleep...or spend time with your kids and wife...and she begins to resent you for it, even though you're just tryin to keep food on the table and clothes on their backs. . . . .and you miss em like crazy. so much so, that you sacrifice even more sleep just so you can look at them alittle longer....and all your daily struggles just pile on along with mistakes from the past that come back to haunt you in the present. . . .and then the pressures from every direction start to affect your ability to do the things that are keeping you busy in the first place. . . .making it all in vain. . . .

you know.....that kind of busy.

Anyway, this is somethin' i did awhile ago....thought i'd throw it up.

Quick and Dirty. . .

I did this concept this mornin' in about an hour. Its for a friend of mine to model in 3D. wish i had actual time to invest in it but...it is what it is.....
Now for the bad news...... My producer on my new project left me a message stating that, due to certain circumstances, situations, and goings on, Sandiego most likely wont happen.....The project is still movin' foward, just not in the direction of Sandiego. That news cut me kinda deep, but hey...it is what it is. I'm still on the grind.

So yeah. . . .

the project is moving along. . . .not as fast as i'd like...but thats about to change. Im speedin' up the process with this new boost of motivation and inspiration. This is a small panel from one of the pages.....not much to look at i know. but i figure it'd give people a clue as to whats brewin'......or not.
By the way, our booth at San Diego Comic Con is a go. So i'll be givin' more info on that soon.

The future. . . . .

I've started workin on a new project ( hopefuly to debut this summer in san diego). Im really amped about it. I'm workin with a fantastic writer and it's gonna be great......thats pretty much all i can say right now. So the posting might slow up....not that it was ever fast.....okay so, the postin might get slower. I'll definately post a preview at some point. but for now....
these are some of the things i was workin on before, that prolly wont get finished out. Well, i might finish the storm one.....i had a vision. Anyway, thats about it. Oh, after some peer pressure, alot of shouting and some mild violence on my part, i finally got my long time friend and brother in the arts, Eric "Poncho" Kenney to blog it up. So stop by his blog every now and then to check him out.
